John H Collins III
President, Chairman of the Board & Secretary
Origin Story
Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, John Collins’ commitment to service began early. At just 15 years old, he entered the workforce—first in fast-paced customer service roles and later as a pharmacy technician, where he gained firsthand exposure to the importance of care, accuracy, and responsibility in people’s everyday lives. These early experiences instilled a strong work ethic and a deep respect for dignity, consistency, and trust.
John later transitioned into the security field, where his understanding of service evolved even further. While tasked with protecting private property, he consistently recognized opportunities to go beyond enforcement—choosing instead to engage with individuals experiencing homelessness who found their way onto the properties he served. Rather than viewing these encounters as problems to remove, John approached them as people to meet where they were, offering conversation, resources, and human respect whenever possible. This perspective reshaped his understanding of what safety, community, and accountability truly mean.
These lived experiences—working across healthcare-adjacent roles, frontline security, and community interaction—formed the foundation of John’s belief that true stability is built when people are treated with dignity, not judgment.
Guided by these principles, John founded Dignified Pathways LLC and later led the formation of Dignified Pathways Foundation Inc., creating a structured, compliant, and community-centered approach to outreach and support across Colorado.
As President and Chairman of the Board, John provides strategic leadership, governance oversight, and mission alignment—ensuring that all organizational efforts remain transparent, responsible, and focused on long-term community impact. His work reflects a simple but powerful belief: meaningful change happens when service is rooted in empathy, structure, and respect for every individual’s path forward.
